Wheal Coates Engine House

£140.00

The Engine Houses of Botallack Mine perching precariously on the cliffs of the North Cornwall coast are an iconic image of the county. A testament to the tenacity of the Cornish miners and engineers who built them and made their living from the rock and ore beneath our feet.

This glass landscape features an Engine House, hand cut from sheet copper, encapsulated between layers of glass and embellished with frit.
Approx 20x15cm, mounted on hand cut and polished reclaimed antique French oak.
