Northern Lights

This glass panel beautifully depicts the luminosity of the Northern Lights. Each unique glass panel is made by layering precisely cut and fitted strips and ribbons of sheet onto a clear base. This is then fired in a dam to achieve a completely new, smooth piece of glass. The trees and foreground are added for the second firing. The trees are formed from aventurine green frit and have a lovely shimmer. The finished panel is mounted on one of our handmade reclaimed antique French oak stands. Each one is unique and will vary slightly from above images.
