Sea Foam

This piece for me evokes the delicate bubbles formed by the gentle lapping of summer wavelets on the shore on into a rock pool. The colours of the Cornish summer sea over the sun warmed golden sands.

The coarse frit gives beautifully different results whether between or under the ribbons of glass for lots of texture, interest and refraction of light.

This for me is what glass is all about. Almost like capturing the ocean in a moment of time and making it solid. This is why my little business is called Deep Waters Glass.

I love all the work I do, all of the different styles and design, all of the colours and shades and textures. But this, this is what makes my heart sing the most; bringing the soul healing majesty of the ocean into the home.

Approx 30x14cm, supplied with aluminium stand off clamps to mount it on your wall.
