Have you ever looked at fused glass art and thought ‘I’d love to have a go at that’? If the answer is ‘yes’ then you’ve come to the right place. I offer a range of workshops and classes suitable for all, no experience necessary.
These workshops are both fun and therapeutic. It’s so easy to get lost in the meditative process of designing and creating your very own piece of glass art. I provide all the materials and equipment and guide you through the process. At the end of the session I’ll fire your creations in one of my kilns; Bertha or Mavis. These will be ready to collect a week or so later or posted for a small fee.
Come on your own and meet new friends, bring a friend for a special treat, book as a group for a special birthday or even a team bonding session or Hen do.
Since opening Sea to Shore Artisan Collective in Boscastle in July 2024 my workshops will now be held in my studio at the rear of the shop. You will now have access to almost all my glass supplies with no fear I’ve left that one useful colour back at the studio. There is ample parking at the Cobweb Council Carpark where you will also find public conveniences. Why not make a day of it with lunch at one of the many fabulous eateries and have a lovely walk along the Valency Valley or along the coast path.
If, on the other hand, you have a small group and fancy trying fusing in the comfort of your own home just get in touch to discuss your requirements. I will bring everything needed to provide a workshop in your space, all you need is a minimum of 6 people and a table. Suitable for kids parties, hen parties, retirement parties, birthdays, a special treat or just because.
Whichever workshop you choose you’re sure to have fun, make memories and have some wonderful glassy art at the end.
You’ll find all the workshops available to book on the Sea to Shore Artisan Collective website, here. I hope to see you soon.
